ER tracker, saved progress and NRTH interest list
Effective October 29, 2026This policy explains how NRTH Health saves your ER tracker progress, records usage and handles information you provide.
Details and saved progress
We save the details you enter as you go, including unfinished first and last names, email and phone drafts, the selected phone country, setup step, hospital choice, search/filter settings and unfinished arrival/time edits. This lets the same browser restore your progress after a reload or connection loss.
Your interest registration is recorded when you press Continue on the contact step. We then save your chosen contact, registration time and the versions of the registration notice and this policy. Saving an unfinished form does not register you for the interest list.
For a visit, we save the selected hospital, skipped milestone choices and your reported arrival, triage, clinician and departure times. We retain the history of changes to those times and choices. These are your own reports, not hospital records.
Activity and QR links
We record activity in the ER flow, such as QR-link openings, pages and steps viewed, completed steps, hospital selections, filter use, validation outcomes and visit updates. Activity can include timestamps, a tagged QR or campaign source and limited browser, device and display categories.
Activity is connected to a browser journey and, after registration, your saved profile. Form contents stay in private draft and profile records; analytics events use action categories and limited metadata. A QR-link opening records a request to the link and does not prove that a camera scanned a code or that each opening is a different person.
Automatic times and wait estimates
Starting a visit records the server time as your reported arrival. Progress buttons record triage, clinician and departure times when you press them. You can correct these times. We calculate elapsed time and a rough planning countdown from your arrival and the available wait estimate.
Until enough recent reports are available, we use the supplied October 2026 hospital reference data for the matching weekday and hour. These historical profiles include posted waits after triage and modelled values; they are temporary planning estimates, not live hospital queue measurements or calibrated personal predictions. Their timing definition differs from the arrival-to-clinician reports collected by this tracker.
Once at least three separate browser registrations contribute eligible recent arrival-to-clinician durations, their median replaces the reference estimate. Each registration contributes at most one report. We do not publish individual visits, contact details or exact event times in the estimate. Registrations are not verified identities, so this is not a count of verified people.
Unusually short intervals receive timing-quality flags and are excluded from community estimates until corrected. A flag does not establish that a report is false or prevent you from recording progress. Estimates may change or be unavailable, are not official hospital waits and cannot predict your individual care priority.
How we use it
We use saved details and activity to operate the tracker, restore unfinished progress, keep visit history, calculate community wait estimates, assess timing quality, understand how the ER flow is used and maintain the NRTH interest list. We may use your chosen contact to follow up about your interest in NRTH Health.
Registering does not turn on automatic email or SMS messages. The tracker does not check you into a hospital, contact hospital staff or change official wait times. Email and phone checks do not establish your identity or ownership of the contact.
Remembering this browser
Essential browser cookies connect this browser to its saved journey and registered profile for up to 30 days. Browser storage holds unfinished changes and a retry queue so updates can be sent after a connection returns.
Your private records are accessed through this browser’s session. Entering the same contact on another device does not recover them. Clearing cookies or session expiry removes browser access; it does not by itself delete saved server records.
Where the service runs
The tracker uses Sites hosting and Cloudflare infrastructure. Drafts, registrations, activity and visit history are stored in Cloudflare D1. Authorized NRTH personnel and service operators may access information as needed to operate and support the tracker, analytics and interest list.
Keeping and deleting information
We retain saved information while needed for the tracker, usage analysis and interest list. The browser’s 30-day access period does not set an automatic deletion date for database records.
Use the deletion control below to remove the saved details and activity associated with this browser. A registered profile’s deletion also removes its interest registration, visits, timing-quality flags, time-change history and linked browser journeys. Deleted visits stop contributing to future community estimates.
You can email privacy@nrth.health to request access, correction or deletion, or ask a privacy question. We may need additional information to identify your records.

Policy updates
We publish the current policy here and record its version with new registrations and browser journeys. Existing interest-registration timestamps remain unchanged when this policy is updated.
