ABOUT NRTH HEALTH

NRTH Health, also called NRTH, develops tools for clearer health information, alongside an ER wait tracker for Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.

NRTH’s direction starts with continuity: the original record, the person’s own perspective and the choice of what comes next.

That leads to two connected tracks—a proposed infrastructure layer for healthcare organizations, and an end-to-end patient experience.

PRODUCT DECISIONS

How the NRTH direction shapes an interface
The choiceWhat it means in the experience
Keep the original closeA summary should lead back to the source, with its date and revision intact.
Make room for the personA personal note adds perspective without rewriting the original record.
Prefer a clear boundaryShow the selected context and recipient rather than implying access to every record.
Explain uncertaintyMissing, unverified and changed information should have visible states and useful next steps.

These choices connect the organization infrastructure and patient-experience tracks. The website shows that direction through original artwork and sample interfaces.
